Earlier this year, Microsoft had informed windows XP users about its plan for bringing an end to the operating system and requested everyone to upgrade from the operating system which was literally on life support.
Launched on October 25, 2001, Windows XP was one of the best operating systems that Microsoft has ever developed. In its lifetime Windows XP had received more than three service pack updates. However after April 2009, Microsoft had stopped proving free technical support and warranty claims for the OS, which was an early signal for microsoft plans to put an end to the operating system.
Although with the end of support for Windows XP, the OS will not cease instantly, As long as you have the OS installed on your computer, you will be able to use it. However as the time goes by the OS will become more prone to vulnerabilities, malware and other security risks.
